    Position Overview

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team at Eltec.tech. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining inventory control in our fast-paced industrial environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Process incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damages

    • Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and arranging transportation

    • Maintain accurate records of all shipments and receipts using our inventory management system

    • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently

    • Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve shipping discrepancies

    • Perform regular inventory counts and reconciliations

    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in the warehouse area

    • Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse

    Qualifications and Skills

    • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in logistics or supply chain management is an asset

    • Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain

        Job description

        Under the supervision of the workshop foreman, the machinist is responsible for machining, manufacturing, and repairing parts using conventional machine tools (lathes, boring machines) with precision and quality. They directly contribute to the performance and reliability of our clients’ equipment.

        Your main responsibilities

        • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining operations and their sequence;
        • Use and maintain conventional machine tools to manufacture parts and components;
        • Ensure quality control of machined parts.

        Education

        • DEP in machining (an asset).

        Experience

        • 5 years of relevant experience as a machinist, including line boring and lathe operations.

                  We are looking for several certified welders to join our team.  Welding is mostly comprised of Mig work on clean steel for new fabrication.  You should be comfortable working in a variety of welding positions, working exclusively indoors. Most of the work is focused on large scale work fabricating the components to our heavy equipment machinery.  You are capable of clean, deep penetration weld work that can sustain the heavy strain our customers expect from our equipment.  You should be able to read mechanical drawings and follow a plan to make your work as efficient as possible.  You are also conscious of safety procedures.
