          The underground electrician contributes to the safe and continuous mining operations of the site. They are responsible for installing, repairing, and ensuring the proper functioning of equipment in both planned and unplanned maintenance operations.

          Your main responsibilities

          • Perform work in compliance with the electrical code and best practices;
          • Install, construct, refurbish, modify, repair, and maintain all electrical infrastructures and equipment on the mining site;
          • Design control panels and install power distribution circuits;
          • Read and interpret blueprints, circuit diagrams, and technical plans;

            The instrumentation and control technician works within the surface and underground electrical team, under the supervision of the electrical supervisor and in collaboration with other department members. They are responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation equipment.

            Your main responsibilities

            • Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation equipment such as gas probes, seismometers, accelerometers, piezometers, and communication systems;
            • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical equipment such as variable frequency drives (VFDs), smart motor controllers, motors, transformers, lighting systems, etc;
            • Basic troubleshooting and programming of PLCs, operator interfaces, and industrial networks;
